About Chi Kappa Rho
Chi Kappa Rho Sorority was founded on December 2, 1963 at the University of New Haven, then New Haven College. We are an organization that thrives on community service and social events at the University of New Haven and within the surrounding community. We are a local sorority, so we are the only chapter in existence. We stand as the oldest Greek organization on the University of New Haven campus. We are also associate members of the Panhellenic Council at University of New Haven. We host various annual campus wide events, including our Sexual Assault Survivor & Supporters (SASS) Walk, March MADDness, and our Annual Virginia M. Parker Fashion Show. We also participate in socials on campus with other sororities and fraternities within our campus community! The sisters of Chi Kappa Rho stick by their motto which is "share the friendship and the spirit," not just within the close bond our sisterhood offers us, but within the New Haven community as well. |
